The Author

Cesar Francisco Villa was born in 1961 in San Mateo, CA. Much of his primary years can be traced along the coast of Northern California--South of the San Francisco Bay Area. He earned his graduate and postgraduate degrees in fiction from The Long Ridge Writer's Group. He's published fiction and nonfiction in magazines such as The Storyteller, The Rejected Quarterly, America in WWII, GQ magazine, Solitary Watch, and The Writer's Archive. His essays have been anthologized in collections such as, Don't Leave Before The Magic Happens and Hell Is A Very Small Place. He's the acclaimed author of A Generation of Dark, The Looking Girls, and To Whom It May Concern. He calls the Silicon Valley home.
